My love of gardening started off in 2011. I volunteered in an organic farm in Chiddingstone in Kent called Bore Place.

I did this for 2 years. There I learned a lot about growing plants, fruit and vegetables. I wanted to keep going back to the farm to learn more and more. I was excited. I always loved to work outdoors as I originally wanted to work with animals.

I have become very enthusiastic about looking after plants and maintaining gardens.

 

After I left my volunteering position, I knew that I wanted to do gardening as a job.

After a couple of  unsuccessful job applications, I decided to start my own  gardening business.

So I started Borkwood Garden Maintenance in 2014. I was living in Orpington in Kent at that time.

I advertised through my local church leaflets which really helped me put my name out there.

At that time  I didn’t have a driving licence so I walked to all my customers using their tools and some of my own ones.

Gradually I built up my own client base locally and passed my driving test and bought my own tools bit by bit.

 

Fast forward to 2024 where I moved to Armagh in Northern Ireland.

I then changed my business name to Jason H Garden Maintenance.

 

I am now offering my services here in Armagh and surrounding areas.

 

I look forward to making your gardens beautiful, bringing joy and serenity to your outdoor oasis using my environmentally friendly tools and years of experience!
